When thinking about what you want to write about in your very first blog post you realize that you have to set the tone for the rest of the time that you will be blogging.  I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to two of my favorite things.  One is music.  The other is photography (mostly as a spectator).  I believe that this picture is one of the best live concert shots I have ever seen.  Enjoy.  (This shot was taken by Shane Bee.  See it at his flickr page here.)
